Q. I already have my own website.

A. What we’re offering isn’t a replacement for your website; it is a page that displays information, pictures, virtual tours etc. about that particular house. You can put a link to this page on your website however you wish.

 

Q. Will the site you provide look different from my site?

A. We will customize the home’s photo page to look like your site. We use your logo, your company’s colors, and your contact information to make the page look like an extension of your own web site.

 

Q. Do you host the site or do I?

A. We provide the hosting for the site as well as registering the domain name.

 

Q. How will people get to the site with the photos?

A. They can get to the site in three ways: They’ll see the domain name for the site on the yard sign (www.123 mainstreet.com), They can click on whatever link you put on your website, or they can go to the “additional media” link that you can put on the MLS site.

 

Q. Is there a monthly charge?

A. No, There is only a one-time charge for each home.

 

Q. Why are you more expensive than this other “virtual tour” provider?

A. In most cases, we are actually much cheaper. If you compare what other companies are offering to our Gold Package, you’ll see that we offer a complete package with no additional costs but with great quality!

 

Q. How can I put a link to the home’s site on the MLS?

A. When you log into the MLS, you’ll have the option to add additional media to the listing. That’s where you’ll put in the domain name of the house (i.e. www.123mainstreet.com )

 

Q. What if a house’s domain name is already taken?

A. Then we will attempt to secure a similar domain name, such as www.123-mainstreet.com or www.123main-st.com. Either way, the domain name of the house and the domain name on the yard sign will match.

 

Q. How soon will the photos be online?

A. The photos generally take 24 hours to become available online, but often they are available later that same day.

 

Q. Can I have the photos to use elsewhere, like in my MLS listing?

A. Yes! We can provide some or all of the photos to you at no extra charge via email or via CD at a small charge. We reserve the right to use the photos in our own future marketing.

 

Q. How long does it take to photograph the home?

A. Usually it takes between 1 and 2 hours to take the photos and virtual tours.

 

Q. What do I need to do before you get there?

A. You need to make sure that the home is staged properly so that it will show well in the photos and make sure the homeowner knows that we are coming.

 

 

Q. Can there be people at the house while you’re taking the photos?

A. Sure. We’ll try to work around them as best as we can, but we will ask everyone to move around while we shoot certain areas.

 

Q. What do I need to do after the photos are taken?

A. Pay us. Also, go to www.zulupix.com and log in using the login information that we emailed to you. There you will see a list of the homes we’ve photographed for you. Using the tools you find there, add a description for the home as well as a description for each room if you like. You can also look through the photos and deselect the ones you don’t wish to show up on the site.

 

Q. Once I’ve put in my descriptions and chosen the photos, can I change them?

A. Yes. You can make changes to the descriptions and photos as often as you like.

 

Q. How does the process work?

A. First, you let us know when we can get into the home to photograph it. We’ll show up and take the photos and the virtual tours. We typically bring the yard sign along with us and install it in the yard while we’re there. Then we will process the photos and set up the domain name and the page with the photos on it, usually that same day. We will then send you an email with a link to the domain and your username and password to log onto zulupix.com so you can add the home’s info.

 

Q. Who comes to take the photos?

A. Two photographers will come, one to take the photos and one to take the virtual tours.

 

Q. Will the photographers respect the homeowner’s property?

A. Absolutely. Our photographers have been background checked, don’t smoke, will remove their shoes before walking on carpets, and are very careful and courteous.

 

Q. What if I don’t like how a certain photo looks?

A. By using the login information that we provide you, you’ll have the ability to choose which photos are seen on the home’s page.
